Monsters

by xfAdInGxaWaYx   Jul 15, 2005

Tossing, turning
Late at night
Wishing something
Would go right

Remembering, recounting
Mistakes and lies
Cringing, wincing
At bad goodbyes

Hoping, praying
Someone will remember
A girl so lonely
For forever

Scared and afraid
That monsters of the past
Have finally got
Her soul at last

Dark shadows
Overtake
Her mind unprotected
That was once fake

Morning comes
The darkness flees
Her sweat soaked pillow
She does leave

The sun, her protector
A smile on her face
Ready for the new day
Free from monsters that come from space

*Hmm definitely not my best.*
