Don't try to stop me
Your efforts are wasted
Don't try to convince me not to
Please let me fade away

I don't care what you want
This has nothing to do with you
This was my choice for my life
Let me fade away

Your not making this easy
I want to do this on my own
Quit giving me reasons
Just let me fade away

Excuses, excuses, since when do you care?
You weren't there when I needed you
So I'm going to end this
Let me fade away

Why do you have to make me so angry?
These are my last few moments
Stop yelling about the blood on the carpet
And let me fade away

Fine, just leave me here alone
I don't need you anymore
You go back to your friends and your drinking
And I'll just fade away.
