So young,So in love

by Joyce Duboise   Jul 16, 2005

So young,so in love

I look at your picture,
What a beautiful face,
I remember that day,
My mind goes back to that place.

We were so young,
So in love,
Our hearts so delicate,
As rare as a dove.
We stand close,
Your hands on my hips,
I feel your body's warmth,
You kiss my lips.
I look into your eyes,
I can read you like a book,
You lightly touched my neck,
My whole body shook.
I softly kiss yours,
You become so sensitive,
I knew at that moment,
What i was going to give.
I give you my body,
Then tell you to use it as you please,
You handle me so gently,
A rush comes over me,a cool breeze.
We remove eachother's clothing,
One by one, they drop to the floor,
Such a sensual moment,
We then shut the door.
I lie on the bed bare,
You slide on top of me,
It's finally happening,
My innocence is being set free.
You hear me softly moan,
You know you're doing things right,
You tell me you love me,
As we make love throughout the night.
Dusk now ends,then dawn arrives,
We spend the day together,
It's time for you to leave,
So i take a picture to remember, this moment forever.

It's ten years later,I put your picture back in my drawer,
Turn to my husband and say,
we were so young,so in love,
Just like we are today.
