My happiness slips away

I close my eyes and see you
I can see your face so clear
I look into your gentle eyes
and your soft voice is all i can hear

We talk as if it is just another day
Talk as if you did not die
You tell me you are always with me
& everyday you have wiped my tears when i cry

I say i am sorry for diappointing you
So sorry for letting you down
You say you are sorry for leaving
So sorry for not being around

Then we talk about fun times
And remember our laughs and tears
And i stand there in this moment
Not feeling the ever so present fears

We go back to that moment when We were talking about reflection
You hug me and hold me
And say you will always be there for protection

You say sorry for not saying goodbye
Its something you did not mean to do
I say sorry for not being by your side
I should have been there holding you

We both say sorry
For past things we ca not undo
I wrap my arms around your waist
And just stand there and hold you

There we are again
Together again at last
Happy to be with eachother
Forgetting the pain from the past

Then i blink
And you disappear
My happiness slips away
Because me angels no where near..
