Tactical Tears (My Mothers Suicide)

Ambrosia Laced Her Breath
The Wine Had Left Her Drunken
In Sorrow's Nest
The Pain Had Left Her Sunken

The Same Ritual
She Rapidly Repeats
The Suicidal Whispers
That Torments Her To Sleep

With An Alcoholic Confidence
And With All Of Her Strong Will
She Grabbed a Bottle
Laced With Thirty Pills

She Popped The Pills
And Washed Them Down Insane
With The Ambrosia
But She Knew It Was In Vain

The Pills Over-Taken
Her Stomach Did Reject
She Vomited
In Suicide's Neglect

An Hour Later
More Pills On She Poured
She Lyed Drunken
And Clung Unto The Floor

Before Mom Died
She Came To Me That Night
Tucked Me In Quietly
And Said God Would Hold Me Tight

That Morning She Died
Meekly Without a Sound
The Paramedics Were Shocked
At What Her Daughter Found

Just Like It Was Normal
She Tucked Me In So Tight
And Brought Four Years Of Tears
Before She Said Goodnight

Oh my god. I don't know what to say. I have tears. That was breath-taking. I am so sorry. I can't say that I know how you feel....but I can honestly say I wish you didn't either.
