Every Time

Every time I care
I always get walked over
I always collapse and cannot get back up
I always end up heart broken

Every time I love
I end up hurting you
I end up having you to turn your back on me
I cannot Love to any further extent

I stumble on somebody
But when I require them to give me a boost
They turn their back on me
I cannot take this all the time.

I wish upon the stars
To give me enough courage
I wish once a night
To give me enough power

Every birthday
I wish for delight
Every Christmas
I wish for serenity

Every time I let my heart out
Its like I got pushed off of a cliff
I keep my eyes close as I fall
And there I stay giving up on life.

But I keep going
I cannot let the pain prevail
I cannot let my life end
I cannot become a loser

Each time I strive
It will not become like every time
It will not become a failure
I will achieve something all the time.
