My mind’s stuck on repeat, again

I shouldn’t do this
I shouldn’t do this
I shouldn’t let this get to me
I do not like this
It was only him
They were only words
Only words
Only words
Only words
Why won’t they leave?
He had the “last word”
I wish he had not done that
Why did he have to say that?
I know why, but WHY?

Thumping, ringing, burning, crying, sinking, and way too much thinking
I hate how I cannot let it go
I keep hearing those words over and over and again and once more
Thoughts haunt my mind
I need noise

*blasts music*
