Actions Speak Louder than Words

by [п]єєснап*томι   Jul 26, 2005

You say you love me, but is it true?
You tell me you need me,
But do you really love me like I do?
You don't have to tell me, just let me see.

For many years you made me believe,
Only spoken words for me to hear.
But how do I know you won't deceive?
How do I know you'll always be near?

I don't care if what you say is true,
For I think words mean nothing more than air.
All those times you said I love you,
How am I sure you really care?

Your actions speak louder and clearer,
Than words ever could,
I just wish you were nearer,
And show me that you love me, like you should.

All I want is to know you're there,
To be that one person I can trust.
All i need is to know that you truly care,
For actions speak louder than words ever could.
