Hush

Why can’t I forget you
And the pain you put me through
Why can’t I focus on the bad
And forget what we had
Forget your gentle touch
And how I wanted you so much
I wonder how you dared
To tell me that you cared
I still wonder if they were true
Those words you spoke in few
Your finger against my lips to hush
Roses upon my cheeks that blush
So bad I wanted to believe
Till the second I watched you leave
Still you haunt my dreams
My heart, tension at the seems
For when you spun me around
My feet left the ground
Your strong hands guiding my hips
Moaning coming from your lips
I think I knew it from the start
That you’d leave me with a broken heart

    wow, i really enjoyed reading this poem, for one it reminded me of a memory of my own, and two it seems that many times in my past I know such a thing was true.. I give it a 5.. good job!

    o my god i love love love this one. just a couple of days i felt like this. but then he proved me wrong when he said he wanted to be with me forever... all you have to do is hang on to the person and believe in them 5/5...i love it
