Remember Me

by Chase Witt   Jul 30, 2005

Will I ever be remembered?
Like the stars and the moon will I ever be remembered?
Those people I call friends will
Never care to remember my name,

Yet I understand,
All humans have one passion to care for ones self,

Everything leaves me thinking,
Will this gun,
Help me be remembered,
Like Lee Harvey Oswald?

But I finally decided,
That I don’t want my name to be recognized,
For a murder that was for none,

So I just pick up the gun,
and I feel the steel against my temple.
