August Wind

Serenity Laced The Forest
Fruit Upon The Trees
August Wind Rushed
And Dangled Upon The Leaves

Melancholy We Lay
On The Emerald Earth
My Sister And I
Playing In Its Dirt

We Ran Through The Flowers
The Lily's Touched Our Nose
As We Went To a Happy Place
Sorrow Never Knows

We Called It Heaven
Like Apple Fresh Cream Pie
Its Like a Piece Of Heaven
When Youth Had Once Knew I

We Ran On The Camp Grounds
Happy And Worry Free
That Same Forest
Would Start To Worry Me

The Grass Isn't So Green Now
The Flowers Seem So Cold
Youth Doesn't Beseech
For Now I'm Getting Old

Sometimes I Go Back
To The Forest Where I Cry
The Same Happiness
Sadness Caused To Die

As I Look At The Trees
Swaying In The August Wind
I Silently Cry
As Hurt Begins To Mend

Serenity Laced My Lips
Like Apple Fresh Cream Pie
As I Rested
And The Wind Had Watched Me Cry

Some things are beyond words. That poem was one of them. So. I'm taking a moment of silence right now, to thank you for writing that.
    5/5 for sure.
