I once knew this girl
Who's beauty eclipsed all
I tried to hold out
But then i started to fall

Fall in love with her
And everything that she does
She was so amazing
And gave me such a buzz

Hands as soft as butter
A heart full of gold
I loved her so much
But this i never told

She was like an angel
Caring for anyone feeling down
She had such radiance
She could take away their frown

Her name was whispered by he wind
As if she was a queen
She was on a pedestal
Above anyone you'd ever seen

To her my heart was sold
But this stayed untold
I just couldn't find the words to say
As i watched her walk away
