Unforgiving Skies

Every day I walk through,
still so ignored,
I'm right here,
will you hold my hand?
When I try to forgive,
all that I am,
i'm too late,
I have come and gone.

It's the end of the tune,
and I can't go on,
I'm feeling used,
all I want is you.
Words I cannot use,
lies I can't hide,
rescue me,
won't you take me there?

Something lurking ahead,
i'll not close my eyes,
i'll be strong,
just stay by my side.
Many memories cursed,
my skin's so bruised,
triumph still,
don't leave me here.

Echoes fall by my side,
and still no you,
pull me up,
I have nothing left.
No one smiling tonight,
could we ever be?
I feel afraid,
it's not meant for me.
