Dear child

Dearest child let it be known
Don’t hide what is meant to be shown
Show the love in the life that you live
Know that happiness is in you to give
Let your inner feelings show you the way
So peace may follow you throughout the rest of your days
Cry not for there is no reason to mourn
For death is not the end you will once again be born
Shine like the star you are, shine like the sun
Don’t hold back anything until you have won
Let time reveal it’s secrets to you one by one
And let it tell you when your life is done
Remember to smile, remember to dance
Live your life as though you’ve been given a second chance
Trust your heart when deciding between right and wrong
And remember there will always be time for one last song
