Nothing's Left

by Bryan Berry   Aug 8, 2005

Yeah whatever
It's how everyday starts
Nothing's left
No motivation or desire
You're just not up to it anymore

Music, friends, love
Doesn't mean much anymore
Everything that was shiny and gold
Has decayed to a dull brown
You wonder what happened

Was it the loss of a love?
Is life taking its toll?
Is something wrong with you?

Will you bother to find out?

Yeah i totally relate with this one. I especially looove the lines:

"Everything that was shiny and gold
Has decayed to a dull brown"

    Brilliant!

Liked it a lot, espacially the last line was a great end, the one question behind the whole poem, but also the rest of the poem was wondefully written. Espacially the second stanza is my favourite one.

I hope to read more such great stuff from you soon.
    Lots of love
