The Sky's Melancholy

by Fighter (Ariane L.)   Aug 10, 2005

Thunder rumbles in the distance
As heavy rain pours from the sky.
An electric blue flash shatters the darkness.
The demon's rage heard from the safety of home.

The anger with which the horizon speaks
Frightens those who listen, unaware.
They know not of the uproar,
They know not of the demons in the sky.

They listen to the sky's scream.
Perfectly aware of it's danger.
Yet, from the safety of home,
They know not the demon's intention.

Prisoner within their homes,
They can only but listen.
Fightened by the horizon's scream.
The sky's melancholy.
