Tears of the sun
Falling apart my heart is slain
No longer my life is fun

Blood in the river
Blood of the dead
In the cold my flesh will shiver
Is this where my soul has been led?

Pain in my heart
Pain of the used
Hurting and torn apart
Labeled a liar, criticized and accused

Failed as a woman
Failed as a girl
I say what I want, and not what I can
And then I watch everything decay in a whirl

Scars on my body
Scars of my past
I see how many memories are gotty
But then they disappear so damn fast

Shadows on my wall
Shadows in my life
Each darkness would love to see me fall
And each fall causes such a hell of a strife

Fears in my mind
Fears in the night
Sometimes I cry myself blind
Cause I only want to stop this fright

Cries from my soul
Cries from the child in me
I am empty; empty is the hole in me
But it’s invisible to all who see

Breaks in my eyes
Breaks in the days
Its what lingers in my cries?
And what causes my life so many delays

Lonely and sad
Lonely, left to tackle a fray
Its what went bad?
It’s when you left and didn’t stay
