Raining Fate

by Katie   Aug 16, 2005

When the rain falls down and you make my world go round’
You grab my hand running through puddles just to hear the sound.
We stop to see our reflection in the rain drops,
Creating butterflies in my tummy, causing our heart to stop.

The rain creates a tide in the streets as the cars all rush home.
Its just us now, left in the empty streets continuing to roam.
Street lights turn to red as we stop and wait.
The rain is just a sign, saying this is our fate.

Together you and me, forever as one.
With one kiss and one step past the street light, it’s time to run,
Run for our future, run for our past.
The light turns green, this one is going to last.

Rain slows down as the clouds break away.
This is going to be a beautiful sunny day.
For we spent the night dancing in the rain.
Now its time to make a change.

We found each other and we shall remain together.
Hand in hand forever you and me, no matter what the weather.
The rain may fall, the sun may shine.
But, nothing matters as long as you are mine.
