Roaming the halls
Doesn't look up and acknowledge any one
And no one acknowledges you
Except for me
I watch you
With your head twords the ground
And your hair covering you're face
I haven't had the pleasure to see you're eyes
You never look up and let me
It's strange
How you never look up
You don't see where you are going but you seem to know when to move
You never walk into things
And you know where you're going just by looking at the ground
You're books held tightly to your chest
Eyes glued down to the ground
People never seem to notice you
In pictures you seem to never be found
You don't have any friends
Not that I know of
People never notice you are there
Eyes glued to the ground and face covered by hair
I don't know what to say about you
You are mysterious
And I like it
You are different from the rest
The one that never smiles
The one that never speaks
The one no one ever seems to notice
No one but me
I've been watching you you know
Watching how you walk
Wondering if you're even there
Wondering why your lockers never locked
So I walked up to it one day
After you disappeared into lunch
Where you sit alone
And eat food out of a brown paper bag
What I found in your locker
I found pictures you drew
I think you drew them
They're very good too
I found this one I liked a lot
It makes me think too
It's a picture of the Halls
And then there is you
You are walking with your head down glued to the ground and hair in your face
As usual
But everyone is turned away
No one looking at you
But one person
Me
You've noticed me but I don't know when
I've watched your every move
How you seem to know where you are going
But you're eyes never move
You're just walking by the lockers
No one noticing you walk by
Then there is me
Just watching you
So I guess we do the same things
We both watch each other
Then I turned the page in you're drawling book
It's your face
With your eyes up so I can see them
And hair out of the way
You're a beautiful person you are

You roam the halls unnoticed

We have a certain connection
