Pain is only one feeling

It shouldn't be this hard,
To believe in something real,
A heart thats bruised and scarred
It's not the only way to feel.

When tears fall from your eyes,
Like tiny drops of rain,
They're releasing all the lies,
So your soul can free the pain.

Have you seen your life reflected,
In eyes of an abused heart?
How can you say you feel alone,
When you've sen theirs ripped apart?

Have you tried to catch the rain,
As it falls from heaven to your eyes?
You cant say there's only pain,
when you've never even tried.

Your body is your dream,
You can chose to lose or win,
But pain is not your only feeling,
When a loved one strokes your skin.

Until you've stood outside,
And felt tears and rain together,
You can never feel alone,
Because you'll feel the rain forever.
