The Conflict Within

Bad against evil deep within
there is no telling which side will finally win

one side saying live up your life
and the other saying avoid the strife

single or relationship, what shall I do?
I can no longer tell, who's trusting who

to much drama, to much pain
to much to loose to make me go insane

the love and affection is what I miss
having someone to love and someone to kiss

the feeling of care within the soul
the times of loving and having someone to hold

the conflict within will not disappear
the state of confusion while shedding a tear

on my mind this decision begins to reliterate
I long for his touch, and for one more date

seeing you here is augmenting the feeling
the conflict within that is forever unhealing
