A Faint Metallic Tang of Tainted Magic

by Jemma   Aug 22, 2005

Black dark shapes, tall
Resisting dull death’s call

Longing lingering scent of dust
Into darkened abyss I’m thrust

Smoke in lungs
Fuel in heart
Grease in joints
Searching the start

Forgotten memory
Forbidden taste
Touches your tongue
Descends in haste
