Listening

by Kayla Sonya Dearing   Aug 24, 2005

Hearing your peers
Talking about other people.

"If they knew how it felt,
would they still be talking
about people?" You think to yourself.

In the locker room's bathroom
Hearing people talking about you

"Why do they hurt me so much?
Do they know how it feels to be talked about?"

When will the pain go?
When will they stop?
Will it ever stop?

All I want to do is cry

Want to stop
Listening to what they say
But can't because what they say hurts deep inside.
