A long time

by M MEM   Aug 29, 2005

You see my body,
And think how long I had sat there,
In that ever growing pool of blood,
Alive.
You wondered how long I suffered,
Through the rips on my wrist.
You don't know though.
How long I have been dying?
Months.
Years!
My whole life.
You didn't think anything of those words,
You didn't think anything of all those painful actions.
You've been slowly torturing,
Killing me.
I've been dying for months,
I just took the final jump.

Powerful poem again. Congrats you can write sad poetry that doesn't make me want to fall asleep, that's rare.
Just one thing, the second line doesn't make sense, I think there's a word missing.
    Good poem, thanks for sharing.
