In This Life

I want to be Famous, Admired, Respected,
I will not allow my life to play out in the shadows undetected.
I have finally found my true calling and I will not let my talent be wasted,
Competition is scarce because I am one of the top rated.

I want to turn my life around so it is no longer destructive,
With my life I am just trying to do something constructive.
At this point in my life all I have is my body that is fairly healthy,
Through hard work and determination I will end up being disgustingly wealthy.

To all my inspirations to which my writing is dedicated,
I have been waiting my whole life to be this perfectly situated,
Watching the blue tinted smoke rise relaxes me into an inspirational daze,
My most creative ideas start flowing as soon as I start to inhale the sweet haze.

I will persevere to work my way up from rags to riches,
I play by my own rules and stay the hell away from all the snitches.
Each birth is a new life waiting for its story to be told,
Every death creates a legend of how we grew old.
