Lying Is An Addictive Drug

Cover your lies with your fake scars,
I'm sick of hearing all your stories.
When will your book of lies end?
You need to write something new.

You kept telling me sweet nothings,
And I believed you everytime.
I knew you never really cared,
But I wanted to believe it was real.

The truth may hurt me,
But your lies can kill.
So tell me you love me,
And end my stupid life.

You were like an addictive drug,
I was hooked the first night we met.
Drugs can kill when overdosed,
So I've had enough of you.

I'll find myself a nicotine patch,
And call it my new girlfriend.
She'll clean all the poison you gave,
And stop my addiction for you.

I'll write you a book one day,
Call it Lying Is An Addictive Drug.
It's for everything you've done,
And why I hate you so much.

    Wow i can really related to this one. i went through the same exact thing with mine. alot of my poems were about the same guy. so keep your chin up things always get better, they just might take a lil while longer than we all expected.
