Sunset

by Debra   Sep 10, 2005

Colors blazing
Burning bright
As day starts melting
Into night

Brilliant crimson
Golden shine
Such beautiful shades
Stretching out into lines

The sun bids farewell
As it trades places with the moon
But have no worry
It will come back soon

Toward the horizon
The colors sink
Stars start to appear
AS they twinkle and wink

Look quickly now
The light is fading fast
This sunset is special
For it is my last
