What Remains Unsaid

by Fighter (Ariane L.)   Sep 15, 2005

A smile forms on my lips, words left unsaid.
A shadow covers my eyes, the truth hidden.
The light faded long ago, twisted lies.
Stripped from all, confined to live in denial.

My sadness bleeds into the horizon.
Memories wash onto the shore, faded.
A smile forms on my lips, genuine.
Looking into the sky, what remains unsaid.

*Kind of complicated to explain. Hope you understand it...
**The smile on my face is finally genuine. I've been able to move ahead and leave the past behind. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger". I'm still alive... so it's only but made me stronger.
