It Continues

Always in a strife
now it is clear
why she doubts her life
why she begins to tear

Her family and friends
do not take their time
to listen and help stop her trends
however, they treat her like she committed a crime

It was an unexpected move
to have a great weekend, then bleed
as this is something she can prove
I am so sorry I was not there at her time of need

The promise is now broken
but we can restart
I am glad she had spoken
now I realise its part

Now I do not know what to say
I have told her how I may help her cope
and rid of her dismay
although, now all I can do now is hope.

Hope she lives her life
for her death I could not bare
Hope she see the other ways from a knife
and see that I really care

I will now put this to an end
please remember this on everyday that is blue
even if you don't want me as a friend
remember "I will always be there for you"

    It was more heartfelt than anything. Some words were stronger than others. Not that great with some of what it was. Nice ending line. Enjoyed how this was. But it wasn't exactly as great as some others. Thought that there were some strong points but they were kinda buried deep. Nice thoughts portrayed within this one.

    Aww nuts thats a miss spelling... should be 'not'

    'Now I do not know what to say

    Not as good as the others I've read. But it was still good. And with this stanza:

    'Now I do now know what to say
    I have told her how I may help her cope
    and rid of her dismay
    although, now all I can do now is hope.'

    Maybe change it to:

    'Now I do know what to say
    I have told her how I may help her cope
    and rid of her dismay
    although, now all I can do is hope.'

    All the nows kinda threw it off. =] Great poem though. 5/5

    Wow such a powerful poem.. I think a lot of people have been in the same situations to some digree weather its being the friend wanting to end it all or being the friend standing by and hoping they make the right choice. And its really hard when u know how much pain they are in and you cant do anything to fix it. Nice job and thanx for your comment it means a lot
