My Dark Paradise

by Sylvia   Sep 24, 2005

The leaves blows tears in my eyes.
The rain continues to fall from the skies.

The crack of thunder soars in my ears.
Repeat the terrors of my darkest fears.

The mighty oak will bow and drape his head.
The wind will whisper songs for the dead.

The mountain with quiver, shiver, and shake.
Realize, my dark paradise is not fake.

Flowers will flow along in the chilled breeze.
The raven will not fly but suffer to freeze.

Fly away Frozen Raven as far as you may.
Go to the sun for it is your way.

Release me, the ice queen and stop the rain.
This is my dark Paradise...though it's a little insane.
