Mixed Emotions

When was the last time you showed your tears?
Let them roll down your cheeks like rain?
When did you last scream in a pillow?
Where people thought you were insane?

When was the last time you smiled so big?
Where everyone thought you were strange?
When was the last time you changed emotions?
Like your moods got rearranged?

When was the last time you said "I care"?
To someone who needed your side?
When was the last time you said "I love you"?
As your love one was troubled and cried?

When was the last time that you looked really hard?
And saw our world was falling apart?
When was the last time you were horrified?
As the hatred ate at your heart?

With our world of mixed emotions,
And different moods always there.
Just pick out one person,
And tell them you really care.

Doesn't matter what time it is.
Doesn't matter if they aren't your friend.
Just remember with those simples words,
A heart is what you can mend.
