The One who Broke the Angel

by midnight♥lullibys   Sep 25, 2005

Gaze into the glassy window,
And misted eyes look into mine,
Staring into the depths of her soul,
Innocent , pure, so Divine.

In her hair rests a halo with a glow,
Similar to the hazel of her eyes.
Almost magical they twinkle in sorrow,
Awaiting to say her goodbyes.

So young and charming, full of love,
She was always soft hearted to you,
As peace full as a dove flying above
Following where the wind blew.

Not ready to die but I was so blind,
Risking everything I had
To the sleek silver edge I was inclined...
Just as soon as I was sad...

I split myself open and killed ME;
From the sky the innocent fell.
Now forever scarred and weary;
Im the one who broke the angel.

    Your poems are so deep, i love the way they use words and phrases that you really have to think about but are pretty much flexible enough for anybody to relate to even in a very general sense. i can believe you are as young as your profile says...i wish i had your talent at your age. the angels poems is beautiful, cant wait to read your next poem XD
