The Skies Dripped Away
The Light Delayed To Bloom
As Darkness Crept
And The Stars Re-kissed The Moon

An Ebony Eclipse
Sprung In Her Heart Of Doubt
As Rainbows Of Hope
Swarmed And Grew About

Incarcerated Demons
That Kept Her From Her Sleep
The Skeletons Of Her Lies
The Rainbows Of Deceit

Rippled Tears Elapsed
As Time Slipped Away
And Her Pale Lips Froze
In What She Didn't Say

Tattooed Upon Her Wrist
With Scars I Didn't Mend
Those Little Messages
She Always Tried To Send

My Little Sister
Cut When She Was Seven
And Took Her Feeble Life
When She Hit Eleven

Doves Embraced Her Spirit
As She Melted In The Sky
Sadness Dripped Away
As The Angels Helped Her Fly

    This truly reaches deep and touches the heart. I loved the whole poem but this stanza just tugged at my heart...
