Time's Casing

by Timothy S   Sep 27, 2005

Time. The seconds that turns to minutes, minutes to hours
Unforgiving. As everything changes, rain slows to showers
It stains the faces of those who call out for anyone
Cleanses and replaces tears of those who cry pain like ours
Inevitable that we're put in cases, sealed up forever
Our way of saving time, but healing...never
Someday we'll break out. Someday
Forsake what was there before, what we were about
Maybe for the better. Who knows truly
Time is still the cloud, all consuming
Let me go back to rest now, forget you knew me
