Something im not

When I'm awake i watch the world go by,
i wanna be asleep,
when I'm asleep i dream of you at night,
i wanna be awake
why is it when my eyes are closed
my heart tells them to open
why is it when my eyes are open
my heart tells them to close why is it that my life's like this
always wishing to be something, I'm nothing, i wanna be something I'm not.
