Imprisoned by Your Mind

by Debra   Sep 28, 2005

Frozen in my step
With the sound of your voice
Vibrating through my ears
Halting my every move

Your presence comes upon me
Slowly taking control
Filling my head
Ensnaring my senses

I can feel your heart beating
Its rhythm pulsing thorough my veins
Drowning my heart
Capturing my soul

There's no escaping
I'm at your disposal
Responding to your beck and call
Enslaved by your mind

I have been worked to the bone
Pushed by both love and hate
Exhausted but still pressing on
Contradiction faces me at every turn

It is only when I am barely alive
Scarcely conscious
That you release me
And leave me to die alone

Loved it. Keep on writing. I could relate. People never see me dying and they never care. *Props*
