Broken Man's Reality

by Timothy S   Oct 4, 2005

Welcome. To the broken pieces of my reality
Where things are unspoken and words are a battle
If you had known, would you still be standing with me
This world of disowned emotion, grabbing to be free
Reaching out for a torn heart with cold hands
Treated by life so brutally with little understanding
Of why this happened, or how it's happening
But now this is my world, I'm still standing
Alone and in pieces, but hurting inlcining gradually
Even in time, you'll never see how I can stand me
I can't even find a reason why my soul is lasting
Tormented by treason, sold lies that crippled me
Still here, fiending to be pain stricken and tossed to the sea
Can only wish, sheets of blood glisten my eyes
The colorless, equivalent to holy water, covering me
So I lay cold, in my own blood, in demon's grapple
This is just a glance into a broken man's reality
