Words

Feeling like there\'s no time, zilch
feeling like a nine times blue someday man
daily nightly through the looking glass
always in shades of gray
I wanna be free
perhaps ride that last train to Clarksville,
feeling the need to take a giant step,
pass through the door into summer
I was looking for good times,
good clean fun, can you dig it?
I was looking for the girl I knew somewhere
just can\'t seem to forget that girl
for love is only sleeping
in the early morning blues and greens
but look out, here comes tomorrow
and I\'m a believer, a daydream believer
and she\'s a star collector,
she\'s Saturday\'s child
on a pleasant valley Sunday
and I\'m thinking you just may be the one,
for Pete\'s sake, it
tears the top right offf my head
as we go along
across the tapioca tundra
singing a porpoise song
under a circle sky
oh my my, you and I
love to love.

35 songs recorded by The Monkees)

(Note:This is my variation on \'found poetry\'(which I don\'t really care for) but titles can\'t be copyrighted and this \'bastardized\' version of found poetry is more creative and actually requires some thought and effort, so I did a few pieces using song/album titles of different bands)
