Heavens Fallen Angel

When at first I saw you
All thoughts just melt away
Blankly staring; speechless
Im unsure of what to say
For these were the gates of heaven
Past sins lay heavy on my heart
How I wished to speak with you Lord
But I dont know where to start
Should I beg for forgiveness?
Or should I grovel on my knees?
I dont know what to do Lord
So Ill start by saying please?
Please Lord can you help me?
Im young I want to live,
My life is set before me
Ready for what I have to give
He sat me down and told me,
What was to be my fate
Im sorry but its over,
you took your life, its much too late!
NO!! I cried in anguish,
There must be something you can do!
I did all I could, he said
But the decision was up to you!
I had everything I wanted
But I threw it all away
Now Ill never get the chance
To live another day.
If only I had known before
That I was cared and loved,
Where were you when I needed help?
When life was no longer fun?
Indeed a cruel twist of fate
To what I deem unjust
To whom this fault I have to blame?
Not a one but myself
I do regret my decision,
Its not that hard to see why?
Before my life was ended
There was no chance to say goodbye.

Please dont follow my example,
But learn from my mistakes
For life is too important,
For anyone to waste!
