I walked into an empty room
and I remembered a conversation once had
I asked you why life wasn't fair
and your response just made me sad

The hand of cards God delt us
may be good or bad or fine
right now the hand I seem to have been delt is on my mind

Why did this have to happen
life's not fair, I know
it shouldn't have to be this way
where am I supposed to go?

No one said life was easy
but whatever I do is wrong
