Confusion

by Tiny Reader   Oct 20, 2005

Beautiful anxiety creeps to the surface
Ecstatically fearing life without love
Smiling and crying all through the night
Then waken by the dark, illuminating light.

Early mornings deathly rays all begin to beat
Down on my content, exhausted heart
Skipping clumsily through a narrow slit
Merrily contemplating, throwing a fit.

Peaceful yet weary of life's major demands
Feeling completed yet fearing a fight
Hopefully doubting a brighter day
This feeling of confusion will not go away.
