THAT WHICH IS MOST GREATLY LOST

by Gary Jurechka   Oct 22, 2005

We once believed in unicorns,
and dreamt of flying upon the wind,
we laughed and played on sunny days
I'm sure seem much grander now
than they really were back then.

In the new magic of youth's fresh kiss,
we knew nothing of adulthood life and problems
for we existed in such wonderous childhood bliss,
and now, of all the things I've lost growing up,
the simple world of my innocence is that which most I miss.
