Awaiting Your Arrival

by Hilary   Oct 30, 2005

She awakes from her dreams
In tears and in pain
The child she lost
Brought back in memories again
She embraces the image
Of the innocent face
In heart and in spirit
She knows his embrace
She asks the Lord why He took her child
From her on that day
He whispered, "Hes still with you,"
"In your heart is where hell lay"
"Your son may reside in Heaven
But hes alive inside your heart!
Every beat is the sound of his voice
In every moment he takes part
Your child will stand watch above
Until your time on Earth is through
And then Ill call your blessed name -
Where he'll be waiting at the gates for you."
