The Princess

by Bill Turner   Oct 30, 2005

My Princess was in pain
Agony beyond belief
Outside, the sound of rain
Nothing providing relief

The hands of a King
Are the hands that heal
Pressure and a gentle sting
Take away the pain you feel

We cannot escape who we are
We carry with us traits from old lives
Knowledge and skill come from afar
This is the way our love thrives

Finding each other with every new life
Love and passion beginning anew
Eternal love of husband and wife
Each time, feeling brand new

You will always be a Princess to me
I will honor you for all my life
Putting you on a pedestal for all to see
The most beautiful woman my future wife
