Just Kill Me Now

What do you want me to say?
I believe everything you tell me,
Even when I know it's a lie,
I'm too in love to know what I see.

What do you want me to do?
Lie to myself and say everything ok,
Not asking questions to see what is wrong,
Go on ignoring them every single day.

What do you want me to see?
A future with someone who makes me cry,
One that seems like nothing is wrong,
Where I'm spared the pain but inside I'll die.

What do you want me to think?
When you pretend this tension's not there somehow,
When I only want to bargain with God,
Asking him please just kill me now.
