All I need to Know

It seems when we get in touch,
It gets just a little too much,
We have to go our separate ways,
Continue with our busy days,

I'm sitting here eating ice cream,
Thinking of you in my dreams,
Why where barely ever together,
Or if they'll ever be a forever,

It's hard to look past,
When things aren't moving fast,
I guess it's better to go slow,
That way we won't get hurt and feel so low,

I can't help my mind,
Thinking we'll never find,
What's out there for us to unhook,
If we don't even look,

All I want is a little something,
To prove this isn't a fling,
That what I have is real,
Not something plainly ideal,

There's so much I want to say,
How I feel today,
But there'll be more poems to say it all,
Right now I just want to stand tall,

I want to be with you,
But do you feel the same too,
If you don't just let me go,
But if you do a kiss or a hug is all I'll need to know.
