My Pensiveness

by Sourav   Nov 8, 2005

Sitting beside your grave
It seems like I can see your face
You are sleeping in peace
You are no more you've found justice

You don't have to live this life
You don't need to face the strife
You don't have to cross the bridge
You are there where you had to reach

I'm alone here still strolling
This life is anything but enthralling
This pain is no one going to mend
Seems this path is never going to end

I know you are watching me from the heaven
I know you can feel my silent pain
But there is a big distance between you and me
A big emptiness like a distance of eternity

So many people come and so many people go
Lots of happiness and so much sorrow
So many things to do yet everything is a waste
Struggle and flounder yet nothing to get

Sitting beside your grave
I'm thinking about this meaningless race
What are life & the point of being alive?
What's the significance of these laughs & cries?
