Bleeding Pride

You called me up on phone today
struggling with the words to say
i stood still, waiting for that storm in my way

i could feel, something is terribly wrong
for the first time I shuddered while pretending
for the first time I realized I am no more strong

so let it start, my friend just let it start
I know flame of words would rip my heart
so please say the things you cant hide
you play your part and I will embrace my bleeding pride

so atlast you said it all
wondering how would I react
I wish i remember, but I just made a fall

you know, I am not hurt for the fact you left me
I am hurt for the things all these years I could not see
I was told so many times about the things you do
but now I stand spitting on the guy in this mirror
why the hell did he trusted you?

this was just the start
to the miseries which would now never end
oh! I wish someone could feel this
for the one you left me was my only friend

I know dying is not the solution to this pain
but if I live, I am sure I will go insane
how could someone take me for such a disgraceful ride
whom should I turn to now with my bleeding pride?

little I knew about a broken heart
but I know one thing for sure, this is just a start
it feels like life is a game I dont want to play
I once loved this game but what a price to pay

allow me to tell you once and for all
the day I will be back on my feets again
I will make you pay the toll

I said these words to myself everytime I cried
and ran towards darkness like a child
with my bleeding pride

** May God never make anyone go through these feelings, well I was just an exceptional case.
But then, Everything happens for the best..right?
