The watchers

by Elynnka   Nov 11, 2005

They pass above the city in thy darkest night
As they watch over you in their silent flight,
No burden too heavy, no task too great,
They save damned souls when we think it's too late.

They wander into distant places, where
You hide from the feelings that seem too hard to bear
And with graceful words of faith and trust
They turn those feelings into dust.

They are beside you all the time
To be there for you when you feel "fine"
And although sometimes you push them away
They cannot abandon you in night or day.

You know who they are if you look deep inside,
They instill those thoughts of "At least I tried"
When you're alone, depressed and feel like dying
They appear whispering reasons for you to keep trying.

This is very good it flows well and the rhyming seems natural and unforced
