You said that we were friends
best friends forever and on
I guess our friendship is based
on what's convenient for one.

I have always been there for you
through your many heart aches and pain,
You acted like you were there for me,
I believed your lies, I must've be insane!

But when the real test of friendship came,
you failed it right away.
because when i needed you as a friend the most,
you shrugged and said "not today."

Our friendship means nothing,
to you and now to me,
you need me more than I need you,
You tied me down, at last I'm free!
